Red Paintings
Hand-painted red paintings on canvas in oil and acrylic, made to order in India.
Red paintings, and where red actually works
Red is the colour people ask for and then hesitate over, because a lot of red is exhausting to live with. The ones that hold up are rarely solid blocks of it.
These pieces use red as the point rather than the background. If you want a wall that stops a conversation for a second, this is the place. If you want to live quietly with a painting, our black and blue pieces will treat you better.
Is red wall art hard to live with?
It can be, if the canvas is one flat field of red. The paintings here break red up with other tones, which is what stops it dominating a room after the first month.
How much do red paintings cost?
From Rs 4,030 for a Small Rolled 12 by 18 inch canvas, rising with size up to 48 by 48 inches. Price follows canvas size, not the design.
What sizes are available?
Up to nine size options per painting, from 12 by 18 inches to 48 by 48 inches, in rolled or stretched canvas.
