Choosing a painting for a living room
A living room is the one wall people actually look at, which is why the usual mistake happens here: a piece that is the right colour and the wrong size. Colour you can judge from a photograph. Size you cannot.
These paintings all work in a living room and they are not variations of one another. Some are quiet enough to sit above a sofa without asking for attention. Others are meant to be the first thing you see when you walk in. Decide which of those two you want before you pick the painting.
What size painting suits a living room wall?
Most living rooms take a canvas of 30 inches or more on the main wall. Below about 24 inches a painting tends to read as an object on the wall rather than as art, especially above a sofa. Every piece here comes in sizes from 12 by 18 inches up to 48 by 48 inches.
How much do these living room paintings cost?
They start at Rs 4,030 for a Small Rolled 12 by 18 inch canvas. The price follows the size of the canvas rather than the artwork on it.
Can I get one in a size that is not listed?
Yes. Larger sizes and custom dimensions are painted to order. Send the wall measurements and we will tell you what suits the space.
